Jason Onks (Executive Director)

Jason has served as Executive Director of camp since April of 2006.  However, he served as a summer staffer working as a counselor for two summers during college.  It was during that time, he discovered his true calling in life.  Jason loves the outdoors and is married to Amanda.  They have two dogs, Callie and Jack.

Lee Acres (Administrative Assistant)

Lee started in October of 2011 and is responsible for managing all of the office procedures.  Most folks will hear her voice when they call the camp.  She is married to Curt and they have 8 year-old triplets, Kathryn, Luke and Ethan.  In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out with her family, reading and promoting autism awareness.

Steve Althaus (Property Manager)

Steve started in October of 2011.  He is responsible for building maintenance and property upkeep.  Steve has over a decade of experience in various nonprofit organizations and is a Recreation Management major from Appalachian State University. He enjoys all things outdoors, particularly hiking Buffalo Mountain Camp's trials with his wife Lisa and their dog Pumpkin.

Tammie Richardson (Hospitality Director)

Tammie started working fulltime at camp in November of 2011 but has served off and on in several capacities over the past 12 years.  She has also worked in the Conference Camping office.  She is responsible for cooking for groups and for making sure all facilities are ready for each group when they get here.  Tammie attends University Parkway Baptist and is married to Jim and they have two children, Ray and Rylie.  She enjoys cooking and entertaining.

Annetta Kirk (Marketing and PR Coordinator)

Annetta started in February of 2008.  She is responsible for the newsletter, manages the website and creates various other publications to market the camp.  In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, music and volunteering at church and other nonprofit organizations.
