Outpost Summer Camp
Program
Hammock Hut Mountain Adventure
Used during our Night Adventure at Eagle's Nest, campers at the village stay up later and later each night. As they sleep later each day, breakfast moves to lunchtime with the final goal of seeing the sun rise Friday morning. These mountainside cabins are on tall poles which are totally surrounded by trees. Instead of sleeping in bunks, campers sleep in amazing woodsy shelters with hammocks. Restroom and bathing facility for all outpost campsites. Most meals at Outpost are made over a camp fire. Campers are encouraged by the staffers to help in all aspects of each meal from preparation to clean up. This site is a great opportunity for animal lovers. The Farm Barn is specially constructed with two seperate sleeping lofts, with animals underneath. Campers learn to feed and care for a variety of small barn animals such as bunnies, goats, chickens, ducks, and a calf.
